Good breakdown and debate during intermission... I really have no doubt the way Duchene backed into him, the general idea was to toe the line of goalie interference (and getting away bullshit was what Deboer's team did in Vegas every year).
Kind of comes back to.. do you slow it down and nitpick on inches of him making contact juuust outside of the crease, or do you let the call stand.
It's not some outrageous travesty, I wouldn't have thought it was bullshit if they called it a goal either. [Reply]

Agreed. I'd probably lean toward it not being interference, but the way the rule is written, it technically was. The only questionable part is whether you think Makar caused the contact.
