I vaguely remember a KC sports one, but not a Chiefs specific one. If it is a duplicate, my apologies. [Reply]
I love DT as much as anyone, but does he really deserve a spot over some of the other all time great LBs on that list? Hell an argument that Chris Jones deserves a spot over DT. Jones was instrumental in each SB win and probably the #2 or #3 most important player during the run. It's either Kelce or Jones at #2. Jones is almost a lock for the HOF.
It might be unpopular, but Jones is more deserving of a spot than DT and Thomas was my favorite player growing up. [Reply]

DT had 0 tackles in 10 playoff games. Not Mt. Rushmore material. [Reply]

Thomas is a top 5-10 player of all time for this franchise, but he's closer to 10 than 5. I think his death is a big reason for people putting him on the Mt. Rushmore of this franchise. [Reply]

I'm assuming you mean CJ. Jones may not have had the flashy stats, but he was a absolute beast and was the reason other players were able to get sacks. His pressures and batted balls basically won us multiple games including at least 1 SB. He took over the Bengals playoff game and was instrumental in that win. He did more for this team and won more than DT. [Reply]

No, Derrick Thomas had zero tackles in the 10 playoff games he played. CJ is clearly the more valuable player of the two. [Reply]
As a qualifier, I think a player needs to be with a franchise for the vast majority of his career to be considered. As an example, Patriots should not be claiming Randy Moss.
Mahomes and Reid are quickly approaching GOAT conversation for their respective positions. Kelce is likely already there. How many other franchises have 3+ players/coaches you could legitimately claim as top 2-3 all-time at their positions?
Steelers, Packers, Cowboys, Giants have a storied history, not certain they have 3+ players in GOAT conversation at their respective position though. [Reply]
