I have been to every brewery in The Kansas City area, except the Green Room burgers & beer.
I’d rank Boulevard in the top 10 but probably not top 5. They are consistent, especially with their special releases but many of their new seasonal and regular stuff are disappointing. [Reply]

Lately Boulevard seems hell bent to push out as many hundreds of different but similar beers as they can. [Reply]

Nimble is pretty small but I believe they are trying to get up to speed to be more consistent on their releases, but everything i've had is top notch.
This is a stretch - but I see your location is Arizona - have you had much exposure to the New Mexico craft beer scene? I'm going to ABQ in June and i've been working on a list of places i'd like to visit. [Reply]

Anything from Santa Fe brewing is pretty good if you’re looking for beer that’s distributed there.

Yeah, not sure on the smaller breweries (La Cumbre is the obvious one, which I'm sure was the first one to come up on any NM craft beer searches). I browsed a giant list that I found to see if any stuck out from a beer fest or anywhere, but if I've had any of them, it wasn't terribly memorable.
If you have any you're curious about though, let me know and I'll let you know if it jogs my memory banks. [Reply]
KC beer seems to have been stunted under the shadow of BLVD being a world class brewery for so many early years, similar to Chicago and Goose Island. People didn't feel the need to seek out much else in their own backyards. Its nice to see more local, competitive breweries spawn up there.
I'll admit to not giving KC Bier Co their due when I lived there. Hidden gem in KC on a hype level. [Reply]
