It has been a while since I read the book but that's how I remember it, although I could be way off. It seemed like he just wanted things to be over and he knew he was sacrificing himself for the good of everyone else. After he got hit with the spell he was surprised to find out he wasn't actually dead.
Spoiler!
Ok, since I am a nerd with OCD, I checked the wiki. Harry did know he was the last horcrux but he thought he would have to die to destroy the horcrux, so I was like 25% right. Instead of dying he went into that limbo state before returning to confront Voldemort again.

Even though I know some spoilers In the last book, im glad i didnt read them. I think the shock value wouldnt be there as much if i had kept up with the books.
Im extremely excited for this movie though. Id love to go see it at midnight but i know theres no chance in hell ill be able to get tickets. I think theres a real shot for part 2 to break box office records. [Reply]
Just bumping this as the opening draws near. Didn't want to start a whole new thread, so maybe a mod can just rename this without the "trailer" at the end.
For those who care: the film clocks in at 2 hours 11 minutes and change. And, from what I hear, that's around 13 minutes of credits as usual, so the actual action clocks in at around 1:58 or so.
I'll be assembling the IMAX print over the next few days and test-running it Tuesday night (well, actually, Wednesday morning to be precise) at around 3:30am. [Reply]

Thats actually short compared to others in the series right? I remember a few running 2 hours and 30 minutes or longer. [Reply]
