Even the MVP must get a grade card. Let the world know what you think.
Alex played in 15 games with 15 starts this season (sitting out one game to watch the Ghost of Christmas Future). He completed 341 passes at a 67.5% completion rate, for 4,402 yards and 8.0 yards per attempt. He threw 26 touchdown passes and 5 interceptions. His quarterback rating was 104.7.
Atop that, he ran for 355 yards and 1 TD, at 5.9 yards per rush. [Reply]

The Chiefs did not have an issue with drops. They were above league average.
What about dropped picks? You want I should throw those in, too? If the Pats don't drop a pick six in the opener the Chiefs lose. If the Raiders don't drop a pick, Albert Wilson doesn't score a fluke TD.

Cretin.
How do they lose, they smoked the Pats by more than a TD? That right there tells me what I need to hear from you or don't need to. You aren't very smart. [Reply]

minus 6(7) from one team and add 6(7) to the other team, that is a 12 to 14 point swing, including extra points. 12-14 point difference.

Basic math.
So that guarantees they lose that game? :-) [Reply]

Man....I wonder if all of the Blake Bortles' ballwashers bitch about the drops that he has to deal with. [Reply]

Just **** off with your drops narrative.
Well he didn't play in that meaningless game against the Broncos so his numbers are way better than you and a lot of other people would like to give him credit for. Plus the drops I mentioned were just the ones that were 99% TDs had they been caught. That's all I was trying to say.
Hey, the Titans came back from 21-3 deficit so who knows? :-) [Reply]

You can say that about a dozen QBs, though.
And if you're going to count dropped TDs, I'm going to count dropped picks. For every dropped TD, there's a stupid YAC play that Smith had nothing to do with, like the shovel passes or that play against Dallas.
It's fucking stupid. He is what he is. Don't try to twist the data to fit your narrative. [Reply]

I'm not trying to twist anything. I gave him a B+. [Reply]

Even in his most hated venue (CP).. the VAST majority believe that this 34 year old, EXPENSIVE starting QB will be worth a minimum of a 2nd rd pick or more.
Seems pretty justified to say he has value and importance. :-) [Reply]
