This movie looks to be everything I wanted from TFA but didn't get.
Have you seen any of his other stuff (Animal Kingdom, Bloodline, etc)?
They could have a fantastic villain for R1 and more if they do this shit right. [Reply]

I've seen him in several movies over the years and he's always fantastic. I'll have to check out Bloodline at some point (along with about a dozen other series out there that I've yet to see!).

Agreed. He could be part of the Obi Wan trilogy, Boba Fett and maybe even the Han Solo stand alone.
The thing that I got from this trailer is that not only does the film look to be awesome, there's so much to explore thematically that doesn't involve Luke or Han or Leia, although Vader and The Emperor should definitely have a presence. [Reply]
Could be Admiral Yularen. Though the canon states he's one of the silent Imperial leaders in the meeting on the Death Star when Vader force chokes a bitch and is only a part of the Imperial Security Bureau, it'd be nice to see the loyal officer character from TCW be a Star Wars version of Rommel. I think you'll enjoy Bloodline. If you haven't seen Animal Kingdom, go rent that shit asap. Mendelsohn, Edgerton, and Guy Pearce in an Aussie crime film.

Same. Much more excited for this than TFA. [Reply]

FWIW, Brian Tyler would be my first choice.
John Williams not doing anymore Star Wars? Or hes only doing the Main saga stuff? [Reply]

From my understanding, Williams was only signed to do Episode VII.
It was announced early on that Desplait would be the composer for Rogue One but I've been hearing rumors that he's out and two other composers are in the running for the film.
Personally, I thought that Williams score was just awful for VII. I've watched it an additional five times since receiving the Blu Ray last week and for me, the score is completely forgettable.

It's time to pass the baton.
Your probably right. I remember it being fairly invisible outside of the main title theme. [Reply]

It will most likely be Brian Tyler, Thomas Newman, maybe John Ottman, who did a great job transitioning the original John Williams Superman score into Superman Returns or someone equally epic. [Reply]
