Went out to a local casino tonight with $140 in my pocket. Walked out with $1280. Won most of it playing a dollar slot machine. Most I have ever won on a slot machine is $1800, but I prefer playing table games most of the time.
Curious if people of the planet have any interesting casino stories. [Reply]

Is downstream that far away? Posted via Mobile Device [Reply]
I gambled very heavy in the mid 80s in Atlantic City. I won $22,000 at my peak but also lost a lot of money. I did date a Playboy Bunny from Philly who worked at the Playboy Casino during this time as well. Boy, those were the days.... [Reply]

With Caesars/Harrahs properties you can earn tier and rewards credits based on your play when you insert a player's card.1 tier credit on slots=$5 played and 1 tier credit on video poker=$10 played.
Tier credits determine your standing i.e. 5000 in one year and you go to platinum status,15,000 in a year and you go to diamond etc.Basically it depends on how you gamble if you win a few bucks and cash out and leave you won't get near the rewards, for example I once sat down at video poker in Council Bluffs and played almost 4 hours on a $20 bill but was able to rack up over 120 tier credits in that time.So while some would say I gambled $1200 in 4 hours I look at it as I entertained myself for 4 hours on $20 and earned myself comps and rewards.
