More broadly, the Broncos in 2024 could be one of the NFL's breakout teams. The league usually has one or two of these teams per year.

in 2023, it was the Houston Texans. The New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars held that honor in 2022. All three teams won nine or 10 games. Well, what is stopping the Denver Broncos from doing this same thing in 2024? What are they missing? Sure, the roster itself might not be excellent, but I am not trying to say this team is winning the Super Bowl this year.

They aren't, However, the roster is quite good enough to be a competitive team. I mean, my goodness, a much less talented roster with bottom-10 QB play scraped together eight wins in 2023.

Offensively, the Broncos brought in a rookie QB that fits what they want to do. They have deep groups at wide receiver and running back, and perhaps if Greg Dulcich can stay healthy, they will have a viable tight end. Along the offensive line, the Broncos are four starters strong. The center position is up in the air with Lloyd Cushenberry's departure, though.

Defensively, Denver finally brought in some help along the defensive front, including two depth DTs in Angelo Blackson and Malcolm Roach. They traded for a plus defender in John Franklin-Myers, and did address their other weakness in the secondary. Adding Levi Wallace, Brandon Jones, and Kris Abrams-Draine this offseason helps round out the unit that already featured Patrick Surtain II and Ja'Quan McMillian.

Overall, the Broncos season hinges on how efficient QB Bo Nix can be as a rookie. Early reports suggest that Nix is actually doing quite well thus far. Listen, the Broncos ceiling in 2024 is going to be modest, most likely, but you cannot tell me this team doesn't have enough talent to be a breakout squad.
This is the most hilariously tepid 'Hype Piece' i've ever read.

"Oh sure, the roster isn't great and they're not going to be good, but y'all saw the 2022 Giants win a few games, right? Maybe these guys can do that!"

The 2022 Giants - not exactly a blueprint for a rebuild, fellas...

Yes but it's possible the Broncos could have a viable tight end this year.

And his name is....

JEFF HEUERMAN
JAKE BUTT
TROY FUMAGALLI
NOAH FANT
ALBERT O
GREG DULCICH

You know what, let's just go with John Cena

You know what, in looking at that list, I could of course be wrong, but I don't remember Knowmo fluffing up Noah Fant like one would think he would. 1st round pick and everything, but I recall far more dumbass "HE CAUGHT A PASS IN SHORTS! :-) " hype around Butt and Dulcich and even Albert O.

And this goodness:

The Seahawks defeated the Broncos 43–8, the largest margin of victory for an underdog and tied with Super Bowl XXVII (1993) for the third largest point differential overall (35) in Super Bowl history. [10] [11] It was the first time the winning team scored over 40 points while holding their opponent to under 10.

I remember being upset that the Donks took him, thinking he was going to be pretty damn good. Kinda hoping Sam Howell takes over there in Seattle in a year and turns him into a weapon now LOL

Randy Gregory sues NFL, Broncos over $500K fines for THC use

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Randy Gregory is suing the NFL and the Broncos claiming discrimination over being fined $532,500 for taking medication containing THC for disabilities during his brief time in Denver.

In the complaint filed this week in Arapahoe County District Court, the 31-year-old pass-rusher who now plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers said he was prescribed Dronabinol for social anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorders but was denied accommodations to treat those disabilities with that medicine.

The NFL and the Broncos both declined to comment on Gregory's lawsuit when reached by The Associated Press on Friday.............

It's a reincarnation ring. They get slaughtered every week, only to return as ghosts. That haunt the Rockies and leaves us numb to the gore

Based on 3 of 10 OTAs media observed, Jarrett Stidham has been most consistent QB. Bo Nix a strong second-best. Zach Wilson getting his work in as he adapts. I don't think I'm alone in this assesment.
Media will watch all 3 minicamp practices this week. Story here👇 #9sports https://t.co/07mZ0BRnjN

High floor old rookie QB getting outplayed by a journeyman in OTAs?

:-)

It's way early, but as somebody who wasn't high on Nix to begin with, I wouldn't be feeling too great about that.

They’re gonna ruin Pix if they throw him out there with that bottom 5 roster IMO. Can you imagine what Spags will do to him? And Faders DL is gonna rape him. Plus the AFCN teams? They’d be smart to sit him year one and build up that roster some. But Sean Painpill isn’t doing a rebuild, he’s attempting to compete.
