Are you drunk? Cain has been gone from the Royals exactly 1 year and 1 month - nothing close to 3 years. Furthermore, Gordon and Cain were never free agents at the same time. Now if you want to say Gordon and Zobrist...that would be true. They were both FA at the same time and we could have made a bid for Zobrist instead. [Reply]

I’ve always compared Cain to Roaf. As they age neither looks like they can walk, but when it is game time they are studs. Cain started playing late in life, makes sense that he ages well. He akso can play right later in his career. [Reply]
