Nzoner's Game Room>***The Official MMA Thread***

Excited about an upcoming fight? Want to make predictions, or just give people a heads-up that there are some fights on? We can do it here.

(Also a good place to complain, dicuss, and agrue about the outcomes)

For those who may have been following MMA news closely, you may have noticed that the UFC recently added an arbitration clause for fighters who want to dispute USADA's findings.

They did it because of Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar. They both want to appeal, and the UFC doesn't want to go to court, so they are doing arbitration.

The reason is because they both presented supplements (or in Brock's case, a foot cream) that USADA tested and verified did contain the substance they popped for. However, they are not getting the Yoel Romero break, because Romero disclosed the tainted supplement he took in his prefight questionnaire before his fight, and these two didn't. Obviously thinking they could have went to every GMC in their town to find a tainted supplement, USADA wants to give them both a very stiff punishment, maybe the full 2 years.

edit: arbitration will cost them both $55k to pay the arbitrators

LOL, I'm watching the championship fight for the Glory show. The idiot corner for the defending champ forgot to give him his mouthpiece for round 2, and he just lost a tooth because of it.

Urijah Faber says he will retire after his next fight on December 17

After Joe Silva leaves, Sean Shelby will be the matchmaker for both women's divisions, and men's bantamweight through lightweight. Mick Maynard will be the matchmaker for flyweight, MW, LHW, and HW, which makes sense for the new guy since those are the 4 shallowest divisions with fewer fighters to juggle.

I love the guy but this is a few fights too late.

Uhhh.... this is big. The UFC is trying to make Bisping vs GSP for UFC 206. Bisping has verbally agreed. The holdout is of course GSP who wants more money.

Well, there's this now. Except we can not treat a damned thing Dana ever says or tweets as credible because he has a long rich history of lying, saying X won't happen, then it does, and he knew at the time X was going down.

Text from @danawhite: There is no Bisping vs. GSP fight in Toronto. I know Mike wants it, but it's not happening.

per Dana White, UFC 205 has already broken Madison Square Garden's live gate record

I'm reluctant to post this because it sounds like bullshit, but there's a lot of smoke.

The headliner for UFC 206 is rumored to be Bisping vs Nick Diaz for the Middleweight title.

Before you yell bullshit, Bisping got medically cleared, he wants to fight in December, and the big 4 contenders are all already booked. Plus, if GSP isn't happening then the UFC desperately needs a draw for the Canadian card in 206, and this would obviously sell tickets, so....

As a fight fan its absurd, but as a freakshow fight fan, I'll definitely buy it.

The PFA has announced that they are making progress and will introduce an interim executive board of 9 current UFC fighters at UFC 205. Those 9 fighters are then going to go out along with the PFA staff and start trying to collect authorization cards from other fighters. They are estimating that they might have enough for a card count and vote in the spring.

Rockhold vs Jacare is off, maybe Jacare gets the shot. If he does, Bisping is no longer the champ.

Cowboy has publicly declared his support for a union. He was apparently in an interview with an ESPN reporter and as it was wrapping up he told the reporter that he was pro-union and asked him to make sure everyone knows it. So, of course that extended the interview because the reporter suddenly had more questions.

Aldo has changed his mind and wants to fight in early 2017. The UFC refused to give him an unconditional release when he met with them, and whatever it is he wants to do is not possible while under contract, so he says he has "no choice but to fight".

I hate to see the way the UFC has allowed that Irish twat to hold the entire 145lb division hostage while he's on some personal quest for glory that Dana is all to happy to indulge.
