Talk about, report, and complain about weather here. It does not matter where you live. Talk about what you got. Snow, wind, hail, storms, virga, meatballs. Give information about what city is close to you. Pics are great too.
This map can be used by anyone and moved to your area. It is customizable for you and gives a lot of information.
We currently have sustained winds at 47mph. The thunderstorm has been followed by all the dust and smoke from western KS. Smells like a fire close by and can't see a block, it's crazy. (I may have said that earlier.) [Reply]
Storm line went through Topeka about 1.5 hours ago. Looked outside and everywhere was orangish in color. And for a few minutes you couldn't see more than 10ft. Lost power sometime after that, maybe an hour ago. Still very windy (ceramic tiles are blowing off our fire pit table). And it smells of wildfire. Evergy says power is supposed to be back on by 7:30. Hmmm, we shall see. [Reply]
Be Advised: All non-emergency phone lines are currently down. You can still access 911 for any emergencies. We will update this post once they are operational again.

Worse in southern Minn and Iowa. Austin, minn does not have power. Entire town. How are they going to make SPAM?
Ours was a fizzle. but on its way.............
Severe T-Storms now east of Twin Cities and Weather will be calm until 1am. Heaviest Storm Damage 85 miles south of Twin Cities likely from Tornado in Hartland,MN northwest of Albert Lea. Weather Calm until 12am Thu then Cold West Winds at 25 to 50 mph and Gusts to 60. @KSTPpic.twitter.com/YqoNKaOtWc
Power just came back on. We got kind of lucky all things considered - I don't think we had any storm gusts over 70. Of course, we've had 50mph sustained winds since the storm went through. Don't know about Mid-American Energy but Allianz has about 75,000 people without power.
Here's a nugget for you amateur meteorologists:
There were 11 confirmed tornado reports in Iowa tonight.
There had been only 5 in December since they started keeping records in the late 19th century. [Reply]
