This has been researched and Buehler is correct: there isn’t much of a HFA in college hoops according to the data. In fact, when comparing the KU historic margin at home vs the road, AFH only provides a couple points. Just as it does for every school.
We don’t pick up 8-10 pts or anything crazy.
And the GAP for us (home benefit vs road penalty) is about middle of the pack in college hoops. The myth we win due to AFH is just that. [Reply]

For anyone watching, did you just see the refs bizarrely not call an intentional foul on grabbing Garrett by the arm on a free run to the basket? Should have been a shooting foul as well but it was nothing. :-) [Reply]
