We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.
If we’re being realistic, I think Trae Waynes has to be on the radar. He’s a guy who there’s has actually been reports of the team looking to trade. [Reply]

The ball is completely in his court now. He has everything he needs to rebuild the D. There's no excuses.
He created the cap space. He has ample picks. He has a defensive roster that needs literally everything. And the imminent releasing of Berry will give him even more room.
He has set himself up. Now he needs to execute.
If this analysis is correct, then we are going to see some better than-JAG
FA signings on the defensive side of the ball. I don't think we have enough picks (at least in top 3 rounds) to address it all through the draft. I sense a tradedown on the first round into the top half of the second for an additional 2019 pick if the draft is that deep in defense. [Reply]

Holton Hill probably fucked that up.
I think the Vikings were planning on perhaps being able to trade Waynes, play Alexander in the slot and then run with Rhodes and some combination of Hughes/Hill on the outside. Hill played well for them after Hughes blew his ACL and provided insurance for them in the event that Hughes knee didn't bounce back..
Well now Hill, who went undrafted for popping positive at the combine, was recently named in a police report where a teammate was busted for felony possession. That's....not a good look.
I'm betting that the Vikings are gonna back off the ledge there with no way to really trust Hill at this point. [Reply]
