Bottom line on Jalen Ramsey is this: I wouldn't do it. Reid & Veach may. If they do, it puts the pressure completely on Tyrann Mathieu, Frank Clark to make him a Team-first guy. That is a tall order.#Chiefs

1) It will take a 1st and a 2nd or 1st and a 3rd + player to land Ramsey IMO. Considering the haul that Miami got for a young but middle of the pack LT and the likely top 10 1st round pick they got for Fitzpatrick it might not be enough. Both were gross overpays.
2) He reportedly doesn't like playing zone and one of his issues with the Jags. Spags defense plays more zone than most teams.
3) Any bad blood between the Chiefs players and Ramsey for running his mouth and the dirty injury causing hit on Hill?
4) Do the Chiefs want Ramsey's potentially combustible attitude?
5) He wants FA or FA money. They will have him for the rest of this year and the 5th year option. Are the Chiefs willing to make him the highest paid CB in the NFL? This probably ends Jones career as a Chief after this season but they may be able to recoup a 1st with a tag/trade.
I personally would love to have him or PP. I think upgrading CB is necessary with the Antonio Brown signing in NE. [Reply]
