I wont be like alot of you fuckers who talk shit when my team is down but I will say the same thing. Building a football program isnt easy and takes alot of patience [Reply]

You’re not giving him a chance. He doesn’t even have in his own complete recruiting class. He’s playing with a LOT of Odom’s leftovers.
Give him a couple more recruiting cycles and I think you’ll really start to see the results on the field. He already has the #15 ranked recruiting class in 2022 according to 247Sports. That’s pretty fucking amazing for a school like Mizzou. Drink has done wonders with recruiting in a very short time here.

Agreed. The difference is Nebraska fans defend them, and support them at all ends. Mizzou fans mock them. Mizzou fans love to se them fail. [Reply]

Take a deep breath and give it some time.
I don’t expect the wins yet but I expect the dense to give more effort than they have. [Reply]

They have 5 titles to help them sleep at night, big difference. [Reply]

I think people (and some Mizzou fair weather fans) got overly excited last year over the .500 season in an all SEC schedule and in particular, the big win at home over defending national champion LSU and thought Mizzou was ready to ‘take the next step’. They’re not.
They’re young, largely inexperienced, and not even Drinks recruits outside of a few guys. This is largely Odom’s leftovers you’re seeing right now. There’s a reason there getting beat on the field by a veteran team with a veteran coaching staff. They know what they’re doing.
Give it some time. If Drink continues to recruit the state of Missouri and other arenas like he has in 2022, Drinks kids will be running circles around Kentucky in a couple years. But you have to give him time to make it ‘his program’ and get all ‘his guys’ in here.
That’s only fair if you really want to ‘give him a chance’. [Reply]
