Nzoner's Game Room>Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?
pr_capone 03:05 AM 11-17-2013
Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

I am just curious what your setup is, man. If your rocking an MVP, you're doin your mod an extreme injustice with the wrong tank. The strength of vaping is in the tank.

Ok let me ask you this: are the wicks in your tank top or bottom fed? By that, I mean are the replacements for your atomizers located at the bottom of your tank when it's upright (in the vaping position), or are they at the top?

MVP 2.0 goes to 11 watts, has a built in 2600 mAh battery that you charge like a cell. My VTR is very similar but goes to 15 watts and takes replaceable 18650 Li-ion batteries that you can get beyond 3000 mAh. The big thing is the constant amp rating though. The higher the constant amp rating (safe long term drain ability) the lower you can go on your coil's resistance. I have been using coils at about 1.8 amps and 10-12 watts on an Aspire Nautilus (with the newer BVC coils) and they work great. BUT...

I am seriously eyeballing the Aspire Atlantis:

Aspire Atlantis Tank

Aspire's Atlantis has raised the bar to new heights. This next generation tank system brings improved adjustable airflow and Sub Ohm coils that provides performance similar to even the best rebuildable atomizer. By enhancing Aspire's Bottom Vertical Coil design Vapers will experience better taste and vapor production. Aspire's Atlantis Tank design is easy to carry, install, and refill. Aspire... the trusted name in Personal Vaporizers

Aspire is pushing to give an RDA feel to their out-of-the-box tank. And it looks good.

It works.

As I've said I have a magneto with a tugboat rda. I also have a brass monkey and a patriot rda. The air pull matches my tugboat and exceeds my others. I crank it to a full 30 watts and get the exact same flavor as my drippers. Highly recommended.

I am running 70% VG at .6 nic and lung hitting like an RDA. It is awesome.

Here's my mechanical magneto with a .24 build on my tugboat RDA. Not much difference to say the least.

God damn it. I knew something would eventually come along that made me put down my Nautilus. This looks like it's going to do it.

:-) apologies. It's damn worth it, but it's a juice hog. At 2,5 mL I have filled it up twice since I bought it tonight. Be warned.

Oh shit. I was going to ask you what the capacity was. I'm pretty spoiled with my 5 mL tank. Maybe it will actually fit in my VTR though.

From the pic it looks to be the same size overall but more of the interior space is taken up by the coil and chimney assembly.
