Because of the "participation award" mentality that permeates from the owner(s). There is very little substantive accountability in this organization, and it's why we're looking at year 48 without so much as going to a SB. [Reply]
This is probably the only game in the Reid Era where you can blame lopsided TOP on the defense. Could not stop a 3rd down ALL DAY. Christ that was bad. Real bad. [Reply]

I said the same damn thing. Playing off that far is not going to accomplish anything. They just gave the offense free reign to pass at will on us. Unbelievable. [Reply]

When you have an Alzheimer's-suffering DC that didn't figure out until the 4th quarter that blitzing the QB makes them rush their throws and the miss, you get what you saw.
At this point Andy has circled the wagons and he's willing to 100% throw the season to protect his friend. Perhaps there's more to the story, but at this point it's not just a few injuries, it's just having bad players behind those who are injured.
I'm not sure this would ever happen on a real football organization, only a Hunt run soccer-enabling franchise. [Reply]

I'm sure even Andy is laughing at how they won't fire him. He could probably blame it on some ingrown toenail Andy had when he was 15 and Clark would buy it.
I know this, the Chiefs has to be the best place to work; lots of money, no accountability, and never get fired. [Reply]

So we should give up on Andy after his first losing season (maybe) here? And replace him with who exactly? [Reply]
