We had Lucas Niang at #57 in the KC Draft Guide, so this is awesome valued. Played through a hip injury last year. This is definitely a guy earmarked to take over for one of the Chiefs tackles in the future. pic.twitter.com/a1P53sN9bL
New Chiefs OT/OG @Kbniang8 has some WILD college stats. He didn’t allow a single sack in 975 career pass blocking snaps. If that’s not impressive enough, he committed just 3 penalties on 1,982 career snaps.#NFLDraft | #Chiefs | #ChiefsKingdom

With Wylie as a back-up, broke dick Niang’s time is done.
Christ people, he's on a rookie contract. You don't just cut those guys.
I feel bad for the kid, because he sat out the covid year, then got hurt, now he's a broke dick. Even with all of that he has some real value to the Chiefs as a depth guy. [Reply]

Possible but hard to believe. Unless he just had a shit attitude and work ethic i would think they would keep a rookie deal guy with some starting upside. Worst case maybe hes a Thuney replacement in a year or two. [Reply]

Yeah you hang on to him. He's not going anywhere. [Reply]

It’s not just the $$$, he would be wasting a roster spot as a broke dick third string RT.
And it was his decision to sit out his rookie season… no other rookie did that.
He’s barely been available during his two years as a Chief and now the Chiefs have drafted his likely replacement. [Reply]

A few on the radio said we could play Trey Smith at RT and Kinnard at guard [Reply]
