Been meaning to start a thread on this for years and never have for some reason. Big fan of both the original (what I've seen/remember of it...) and the rebooted series.

New doctor:

I'm expecting a pretty minor part. I'd like to see McGann make an appearance somewhere.

McGann would definitely make some sense, at least a regeneration.

My theory is that McGann, when faced with the Time War, found that he was not ruthless enough to get the job done and allowed the Hurt persona to take over. When he went to far Eccleston was called in to clean up the mess. That would explain why Eccleston's Doc was so ticked off by the whole affair.

So I just found out tonight/this morning the Doctor reboots are shown from midnight until 4am Sunday's on KCPT2 here in KC. I thought only BBCA could show them in the states.

Many I did not know about since I didn't start watching until the 80s. Some are meh. Some are contrived. Just goes to show what a colorful history this has. I think they missed one with how Davison quit because of the quality of scripts.

Is it just me or is David Tennant the best Doctor ever? I often tout Troughton, but he has been surpassed.

If you haven't yet watched Broadchurch, you need to. He was fantastic in it.
