It’s like baseball in some ways — those big trades can give your team a real boost of confidence. I think that’s going to be very important for this group because their performances haven’t been too inspiring.
The defense definitely needs some sort of spark or boost from somewhere [Reply]
A side note that pisses me off. Getting a stud player as undrafted at CB is like finding a diamond, and not something any team can count on happening.
J.C. Jackson of the Patriots had two interceptions and a blocked punt-turned-touchdown in New England’s surprisingly hard 16-10 win at Buffalo. For a day, the undrafted cornerback from Maryland was the best player on the best team in football. (He meant Chiefs) [Reply]

Yeah but I’m just talking from a mental perspective. [Reply]

It's Khan vs Ramsey - like Pakistan invading Egypt - and more likely than not the player is going to win.
I doubt Ramsey is on the team past the deadline. He doesn't seem inclined to blink and eventually the owner is going to realize he's in over his head. [Reply]

What about LB? Do you think a stud CB would help more? [Reply]
Truthfully though if Claiborne could play at the level that Breeland is, I’d feel ok at corner. Just play hard, be physical, and play the ball decent in the air. [Reply]

It needs to be one of the two.
We should’ve signed Jordan Hicks in the offseason. He signed for 4 years for $36 million and he’s leading the league in tackles right now. He would’ve been a nice use of that cap space we have right now. [Reply]

He’ll be injured by midseason, don’t worry [Reply]
