Have been banned from the other thread by an apparently sensitive snowflake (ironically after dozens of pages of political discussion from others) so I'll stick my thoughts on the NBA Playoffs here from now on. We needed a new thread anyway. [Reply]
Every time LeBron makes the finals people act like his team is terrible. Even though they just obliterated the Western Conference on the way to the finals and are now playing a banged up Miami team. [Reply]

A very weak western conference.. There's no Warriors or any other great team.
Clippers were paper tigers. You think Nuggets are a great team? Ha! [Reply]

Cumulative Points Added through the first 4 games of the 2020 NBA Finals (min 15 mpg).
Top 3: LeBron James +17.8 Jimmy Butler +16.5 Anthony Davis +13.1
Are we watching the same team? The Lakers outside of two guys have been horrific. The Blazers and Nuggets also weren’t particularly any good at all this year and no real challenge for them (and the Rockets simply got out-sized).
If the Lakers do in fact go on to win this series, it will have been the worst team I can remember to do it. [Reply]
The Lakers were 0-of-6 shooting off a LeBron James pass in the clutch, 0-of-4 on open looks, which includes the Danny Green 3-pt miss with 7 seconds remaining in the game. @ESPNStatsInfo
Arguably the best Finals game LeBron has ever played (although I’d still go with the Warriors games due to the difference in competition). We may never see another guy like him. [Reply]

I mean by the standards we are used to in the NBA, you could make that argument. The fact that a team with Markieff Morris as their #3 is one game away from winning seems like kind of an indicator. [Reply]

LeBron almost certainly isn’t going to play as well as that again this series either, so why wouldn’t anyone believe in that possibility at this point?
Outside of his first Finals series has he ever lost 3 straight games in the Finals? Not gonna happen and he will have very good and maybe even one of his best games if this goes 7. Which I predict WON'T happen. [Reply]
I've never been more impressed by the refs. What a joke. Lets see the these puss cakes win without ref support. We don't even have to try. Highway robbery fuckstains [Reply]
