Got a little too crazy there. Eddie Butler looked good tonight in his debut. [Reply]

Thank god for that. Cubs have been in need for something to go their way because all they've been doing is not hitting, not pitching, and not playing defense all while Joe Maddon does the absolute minimum to shake things up while making excuses like "sleep deprivation."
Bryant was scratched from the game and fucking Schwarber is still leading off? Maddon can go to hell with this whole Schwarber leadoff and pitcher 8th bullshit. [Reply]
Just got home and saw the replay of the Happ slide.
This shit is comically retarded now. Before Happ was even getting into his slide Diaz was putting the ball in his back pocket but because Happ slid a few inches past the bag Rizzo is out at first. Common sense is right out the fucking window with this rule. [Reply]
Today's game is being broadcast on FS1, which has picked up the Fox Midwest feed and for some reason that I don't understand but won't question, hasn't been blocked out.
This the first time in the 30 years I've lived up here that I've been able to watch a Cubs/Cardinals game with Cardinals announcers. God it's wonderful. [Reply]
