Sources: The #Seahawks and #Chiefs are deep in talks on a trade to send star Frank Clark to KC. The compensation would include a 1st rounder, a 2020 2nd rounder and a swap of mid-rounders. To complete it, the franchise tagged player and Chiefs must hammer out a deal.
KC believes the addition of Clark to the d-line rotation of Speaks, Ogbah, Okafor on the edge & Chris Jones, Derrick Nnadi & Xavier Williams inside gives them a chance to win in Jan.
Plus, KC still has 3 top 100 picks this year to address S/CB/MLB/DT or even WR/TE/C.
Am I talking to a wall? It's not about the pick or picks in this particular case, it's about the body of work as a whole and so far, it's just not that impressive.
If his drafting were better, I can cut slack on the compensation for trade-outs.
If his negotiations for extensions were the kind that made you say, "how did we get away with that"(?), I can cut slack on the drafting.
Do you even SOMEWHAT understand the point I'm trying to make here? Like, at all? [Reply]
First reactions OMG, THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER. I'M SUPER ****ING PISSED!!!!!!
600 posts later: THIS GUY IS A STUD! WE'RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!
To be fair, I was busy the first 550 posts and the rest of my fellas didn't know what to think until I let them know that Charles Jefferson was coming in here thinking the QBs of the AFCW trashed his camaro. [Reply]

Exactly the case. Garafolo also confirmed this on NFL.Com. [Reply]

#Chiefs would also still have $37M in cap space next offseason. That includes Sammy’s bloated cap hit & $12M for Eric Fisher. They have money to maneuver. But those day 2 draft picks are going to become really important. Gotta start hitting on cheap value players.
I have just checked the draft chart and basically the Chiefs traded the equivalent of their 29th overall pick and a low 3rd/high 4th round pick this year for Frank Clark, assuming the Chiefs finish with a top 3 record next year. [Reply]
