His album will be called, Trying to Kill It, but Coming Up Short. Will have a rework of Prince’s classic “When the Donks Cry”, as well as his original “Step Stool (to kiss my wife)”. I heard the producer is gonna be the very famous Owen Fifteen!

If we're comparing defenses, the only two players I'd take from the Donks to start for the Chiefs are Surtain and Simmons.

Add in the huge edge we have in defensive coaching, and it's another year of missing the playoffs for Denver.

Payton tends to like finishing below 500 when he has a suspect defense. And now he doesn't even have the benefit of Brees.

...and we'd still take Sneed and Mc Duffie over that duo :-) What a disaster Paton is

Home
KC, LAC, LVR, NYJ, NEP, GBP, MV, CB, WC

Away
KC, LAC, LVR, MD, BB, CB, DL, HT

Worst case:
- the bolded teams are what I would count as VERY winnable and that's 6.
- the underlined teams are winnable and there are 5
- that's 11 games and of those, I'll say they can get 8 wins and lose to the rest

Leaves KC 2X, Vikings, LAC away, Bills, Bears ... 6 other games that I would mark as not expected to win. Take 1-2 there and you have 10 wins.

Lots to be done between now and the regular season and even if they found their way to 10 wins, they can and likely will miss the playoffs.

I think 2022 was a mess for so many reasons and while Sean is not the greatest coach of all-time, Hackett may very well be one of the worst. We will see what other pieces Sean adds, and yeah I'm overly optimistic every season... I'll never project them to finish under .500. I think 10 wins is the ceiling.
Ive been telling you for years that you need to pick them to finish below .500. You never learn...

Nathaniel Hackett is now offensive coordinator of the Jets, and his past experience as offensive coordinator of the Packers is helping the Jets attract offensive talent. Aaron Rodgers said this week that Hackett is one of the reasons he wants to play for the Jets, and new Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard raved about Hackett in his introductory press conference in New York.

Hmm, Samaje Perine was offered the same amount money from CIN but chose DEN instead, per Paul Dehner.

Interesting.

So you matched a notoriously skin flint organization and probably offered more touches.

I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that the Broncos starting RB is coming off a serious knee injury, and probably won't start the season even close to 100%...

So you added a jag to all the other jags you already had. Cool!

I wish them luck. It is funny to hear Aaron rail on the Packers for not investing in weapons, and then he asks the Jets to acquire those same guys.
