Well, they seem to have taken all the bad aspects of GTAO, made them even worse, and just threw RDR2 into the mix.

The economy is purposely fucked in online to push you towards microtransactions.

On top of that there's no friend only lobby/passive mode so when you're out trying to do your thing and griefers with no life target you you're fucked.

If you're into horse races and death matches you'll get worthwhile enjoyment out of the beta but other than that not much to do.

Community feedback has been pretty negative so hopefully they'll fix this when it launches for real.

Only for one mode. The rest are with your loadout. Some with big guns or upgrades you pick up. There is even some during free plays, I just did one to get a horse with 20 other free players for like 10 minutes. Other free play is just for you. There is so many aspects to this game. But I didn’t play gta online so I can’t speak to the similarities

It's the beta, I'm sure a lot will change in the next few weeks. Hopefully they disable the auto-aim server wide. Snappy head-shots make everyone 'gud'.

GTA Online had Auto Aim and Free Aim servers. That and friend only lobbies are a must.
