Not going to happen. The anthem protestors painted themselves into a corner here.
The CBA is made invalid and you have work stoppage.

Yea, Reid is a good one. After giving Peters away, CHunt has indicated that he isn't signing any kneelers. Old money white guy from Texas, CHunt wants all the brown people to shut up and do their job. I wonder how many owners Trump talked to?

And 31 other teams have yet to sign him, including SF, but keep trying.
Bennett was an anthem kneeler and he was traded for amid his assault allegations. Reid has had multiple concussions and whined publicly about his purported value on the market - he is not doing himself any favours.

FREE AGENCY. It doesn’t always benefit the players.
Kap is an idiot. He thinks he will win against the NFL? Really? Teams can sign whoever they want. Playing in the NFL is not some right he has.

1. He hasn't had a concussion since 2015,

2. And what do 30 of those other owners have In common?

So you believe that Hunt and most of the other owners think Black people should know their place and get into that place and if they don't they will just put a substandard product out there because of race?
You realize how stupid that is and you are for saying that kind of shit.

Imagine that. JakeF doesn't know shit about the Hunt family history concerning black athletes.

Who knows if Reid being out of work has anything to do with protests?

Maybe it was distractions to the team...maybe it’s his inconsistency on the field matched with his contract demands, maybe he doesn’t want to play for a certain field of teams and the ones he wants to play for don’t want him for various reasons. Maybe it’s that all GMs think they can get a better safety in the draft who will be motivated and focused.

It's okay to accept that sports teams collude sometimes--no need to defend the shield at all costs.

There are a bunch of plus range safeties still sitting out there with literally 0 interest. Teams are trying to deflate their market.

Or teams are doing a lot more homework nowadays and everybody knows this draft is stacked with safeties and corners. Teams are also looking at ROI on previous big money safety contracts and deciding most aren’t a good investment.

You realize owners have basically said that publicly right?

I get this, but teams also like to go into the draft with as few holes as possible. It makes picking good players easier. No reason to force a pick out of need. KC especially likes this strategy.

It doesn't seem to make a lot of sense that not one team has come to a middle ground compromise with any of these three guys. Even if it were on a one year deal.

Finding guys that can play multiple roles like Reid can is difficult, even with a stacked class, as relying on a rookie as your last line of Defense is risky. Just ask the Saints how that worked out. They aren't RB's.

Even the guys that did get a deal landed way below average deals.
