Not sure we really know enough how about that provision with the little information provided in this thread. It would be interesting to compare that to some of the other big unions. I don't remember that provision ever coming under legal scrutiny. Also, I'm not sure the NFL players union is the standard-bearer for all other unions. I suspect the players union has negotiated better conditions than most other unions. [Reply]
I don’t understand why they don’t just trade the guy to the highest bidder instead of creating more of a team distraction. If reports are accurate that teams are offering first and second picks from him, holding on to him longer seems like it would further diminish his trade value. Every week that passes is another game the team trading for him would be offering compensation for.
Also, if Ramsey really is demanding to be the highest paid defender (over Donald) in the game, that means his value is nowhere near 2 firsts. [Reply]

I'd say he already has started to **** with them.
But others here at CP have assured us that all of his complaints are legitimate. Surely they would know. [Reply]
Jalen Ramsey trade notes: * Under contract through 2020 * Base salaries/cap hits of: $3.2M in 2019, $13.7M in 2020 * Has played and started 50 out of 50 career games * 2X Pro Bowl, 1X 1st team All Pro * Elite man coverage skills * 202 career tackles, 9 INT, 45 PBU
Looking through the CBA, there is no limit about how much time a player can take for paternity leave. I believe CB Jalen Ramsey could be out for as long as he wants or needs. #Jaguars
So does watching Ramsey be a dickhead to Jacksonville make fans not want him or do people don't care what he does to another team? Is anyone worried that Ramsey will do the same shitty stuff to the Chiefs if he gets pissed? [Reply]

My concern is signing him to an extension and then him holding out once the new CBA is announced wanting a new deal. This whole thing is very complex. [Reply]
