That's the nature of college basketball. If it was a crapshoot then a 16 seed would eventually roll their way to a final four.
At least say it's like a poker tournament, some luck to take into consideration but skill will prevail in the end.

Really only their 2014 team was pretty mediocre.
They were fairly consistently good under Calhoun from 1999 until he retired. Ollie just had a random ass run before getting shit canned.
