Tebow was ass most of the year (yes, QB's that complete sub 50 percent passes in today's game are ass) , Lin on the other hand has played very well.
Lin's also made 36 turnovers in 7 games. People have been willing to overlook that due to the wins, much like people overlooked Tebow's awful first halfs.

Funny how people seem to focas on W's, what's up with that?
The Mavs are definitely a contender along with several other teams in the West.
I would love to see what OKC could do with a quality coach. The inmates are running the asylum. Not a good thing when they are all in their early 20s. Scott Brooks was the perfect coach for the team when hired. Not sure he can take us to the next level. I want to be totally wrong about that.

With a guy whos played 6-7 NBA games, the turnovers arent a big deal right now. You also have to remember that he's handling the ball on just about every single possession. Beleive me the Coaches and even Lin look at that and watch film to correct it.
For a Rookie basically, thats gonna happen and in time as he plays more with NBA talent, that will go down.
The kid plays the position correct. Thats what i think alot dont understand. Does he make mistakes? sure he does, he will continue to make them, but hes playing the position the right way. Tebow dont.

But I'm sure you were one of those people that ignored Tebow's first 3 quarters of each game, too. It doesn't faze you.
I think people look at the difference in a team when a player is on it and when they are not. Both of the guys you are capping on were huge difference makers for their team. Will Tebow ever be Peyton and will Lin ever be Jordan, of course not. Will both probably have decent careers in the league, probably. Personally I think Lin has a better chance of remaining a starter and suring up his issues. Lin needs more playing time to work through his issue. I never did understand why people can't stand these type of players. They are unique and difference makers.
