not that i expect much from this show, 11 people do not make a majority :-)
Admittedly I hadn't looked at the total number and that is awfully low, but it's still 11 people who get paid to watch television and know what they're talking about. I'm not saying it's gospel. Pretty bad sign, though.
Edit: Went and looked again. 21 reviews in FWIW. [Reply]
Boring may only be an issue for the add-addled under 25 crowd. We'll see. There's also 7 episodes that haven't screened anywhere.
Seems like I'm also reading a lot of "netflix missed an opportunity to go with an asian-american lead". Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but whatever. People were trying to get netflix to do that months before the show was even cast. I guess folks aren't ever going to happy when they don't get their way. [Reply]
I was going to post that. Yeah, he's been pretty spot on as far as things being good.
He did kind of leave it at, well, the next 7 episodes are probably going to be the good part so it won't suck. Plus if they are pissed because they didn't cast an asian dude as the lead, well, that would lend itself to an unreasonably bad rating. [Reply]
Well, I made it through 5 episodes before crashing and I think it's solid so far. 2nd episode was a little slow, that's my only negative. Way more into this at this point than Luke Cage last year. Really feels like it's ramping up into the second half of the season. [Reply]

Liking it way more than LC, which I never completed. Lots of complaints about it being slow, but I'm enjoying it... even if it does feel like a Marvel version of Arrow. [Reply]
on episode 8. it's not terrible, but the glowing hand is silly. why not both hands? why not his feet too? and the asian chic in her yoga pants.....someone needs to tell the whole humanity of women STOP FUCKING WEARING YOUR TIGHTY WHITIES UNDER THEM.
Haven't found it boring yet. It is slowly showing and not hitting you with a bunch of exposition off the bat. Also dropping in a lot of comic book stuff. About the only thing that hasn't been name dropped is Yu Ti, even as far as Colleen calling herself the Daughter of the Dragon. [Reply]
quite anti climactic. cheesy ima badass but want to cry sometimes superhero. not enough carryover from the other series and the soundtrack sounded like it was taken from stranger things (i get, but unoriginal). 6/10 [Reply]
Through episode 10, and pretty disappointed so far. The actor playing Rand is horrible. He's about as graceful as 3 legged hippo. Feels like I'm watching a high school drama club do kung fu theater. The drunken master fight scene was stupid.
Easily the worst of all Netflix / Marvel shows so far. [Reply]

defo should have had someone different in rands role. the rest of the show was actually decent. when more than two people were fighting, you got the daredevil vibe. but when rand is by himself, he cannot sell a fight scene. too much karate kid in the show. :-) [Reply]
