Sorry, but if you are stupid/drunk/immature/attention seeking enough to do a stunt like this then you deserve to face the consequences, including tasing.
In fact....if you run out onto the field during an NFL game they should make a rule that you are fair game to become a tackling dummy for anyone on the field at the time. And a bonus to the player if it is a bone jarring tackle. [Reply]
They are protecting athletes worth millions so every player can feel safe playing in front of a crowd so millions can enjoy. It took a while for tennis players to be truly comfortable after Monica seles was stabbed. If youre old enough to do damage which includes potential weapons then you get taken down.
