Forget the yardage... an improvement will be the defense getting off the field quicker.
Don’t give up any 10+ play drives, and force three and outs. [Reply]

Oh, I don't know. This Chiefs team was always built to outscore the other team. The defense has been so shitty the past couple of years, that no lead was ever really secure. If the offense is missing key personnel, it makes it that much harder to follow the winning formula of the past couple of years. The offense this season has never really gotten up to speed. Watkins, Hill & Fish have only played together for about 1 Qtr. KC can afford to lose a skill position player, as long as either Hill OR Watkins is on the field. Lose both, and the Colts debacle happens. Have one, and you're gonns be in the game. Have both, with protection, and the defense can be as shitty as it is now and the Chiefs can still win a shit ton of games. However, without protection for Mahomes, that won't happen. The OL issues are what concerns me the most.
The Chiefs MUST protect Mahomes. As long as they can do that. they have a good shot to beat anyone, anywhere. [Reply]
The Broncos are giving up 111 avg rushing yards per game. 20th in the NFL. Not horrible by any means but they are 4th in passing yards allowed. If Andy grows the fuck up and runs the ball then we win this game.
That being said There needs to be a healthy balance and when the Donkos try the "blue print" run the ball back at them. Get the lead kill the clock make them panic and pass the ball. They won't be able to keep up with our offense even if its hobbled.
We will see this game if Andy adjust what so ever after the last two games. [Reply]

DING!...DING...DING!
THAT was my key to the game for KC that I discussed with MHM the other day. KC doesn't need to rush for a million yards either, they just have to be effective in the running game. That will allow them to sustain drives more easily and create more big opportunities for the offense. [Reply]

He will have a plan. He always does. When Denver had an elite D he always had excellent gameplans with quick passes to beat them.
Just like last week? We scored a TD on a drive where we went nothing but quick passes then the next drive after Andy went Bombs over Baghdad and we went 3 and out..... [Reply]
