The coaching staff in Jacksonville will be gone at the end of the season anyways. They might be able to get one more year out of the owner, but Marrone is not the coach to take them to the playoffs, let alone a Super Bowl. [Reply]

I personally don't think you can or should hold a player hostage, it's a bad look and will actively make other players not want to play there.
So you shouldn't franchise tag players either? [Reply]

I think that depends, depends on the player and your intention. I don't think you should franchise guys multiple times. If you're dispute is money that can be handled, if a guy frankly just doesn't wanna be there that is an issue. [Reply]

The Chiefs don't need Ramsey to win a championship. [Reply]

That's probably exactly what Khan is telling him right now. Be patient, the guys you hate will be gone at the end of the season. [Reply]

If that's the case, if I were Ramsey, I'd want out more.
What kind of dysfunctional shit is goin on here, I want no part of this. [Reply]
At the very least he should have been fined for the dustup with his coach and then slamming the entire organization on national tv in a profanity-laced rant.
No one player is bigger than the entire team. [Reply]

As a fan, it's better for us for it to be this way. Otherwise, it's the NBA. [Reply]
I dont see the coincidence of him having a child has anything to do with this. If he misses more than one game from paternity leave then I'd change my tune [Reply]

The problem though is he hates Tom Coughlin who they brought back because well they had sucked since he left...
I also think part of what may have him annoyed is, they can't pay all those guys, they have cap issues and more guys than just him who want to be paid after giving a backup QB a huge contract.
Jacksonville is years away from competing. [Reply]
