Nevermind the fact that their last drive of the first half (the one everybody is talking about) started with 2 passes for 24 yards and two first downs.

Those make me nervous, especially Ward. Our need at corner could grow even larger.

It happens all of the time.
Yes like the bears. Difference is we've lost a playoff game doing that. Hell if we don't pick up that 3rd and 9, they have a minute and 10 seconds to come back and beat us. I hate how people are making it seem like their late scoring was inconsequential. [Reply]
Harbaugh was attempting to be more aggressive because he feared the offense. Sure, that aggression MAY have made him decide to pass more.
That aggression also made the defense have to defend 5 4th down conversion attempts.
What other defense in the league has to deal with 5 4th down attempts in a single game?
This is a very good point. 5 4th down attempts means that the Chiefs successfully stopped the Ravens on 3rd down those 5 times. Nobody goes for it 5 times on 4th down in one game. That was overly aggressive. It needs to be acknowledged that the defense was under extraordinary pressure in this game due to that aggressiveness on top of the strength of the Ravens running game and the escapability of Jackson. Last week, the defense showed me that they are better, and that we can expect them to stop teams more than they did last year. [Reply]
