I guess he sees itas a noose. I'm confused because wasnt it reported as Bubba never saw the noose a crew member saw it and reported it to his crew chief.

Maybe I misread the report. I am quickly getting sick of this story though.

Seems like a misstep here by Wallace.

Probably should’ve just said that he is relieved to find out that it wasn’t actually a noose, but this shouldn’t lead people to believe that racism doesn’t exist. He appreciates the support from NASCAR and his fellow drivers, and he will continue to be a positive role model for young fans.

He can acknowledge the misunderstanding without having to walk back every comment he’s made over the last few months.

He’s making himself look complicit in this. I think this will follow him for a while now. He’s walking right into the Jussie Smollett comparisons.

Yeah it was hanging on the end of the garage door pull rope where it's been since at least the October race last year. Not what he meant but I guess it's the truth.

Is it technically a noose? Or does it just look like one?

If it isn’t, then we should stop referring to it as such.

I’m sure someone on here knows more about knots than me and can confirm if this is even a noose. I don’t know, but I’ve seen several people online saying that by definition it isn’t (granted, that doesn’t always mean much).

Talking to Lemon, Wallace said the image he saw of "what was hanging in my garage is not a garage pull."

“It was a noose," Wallace said. "Whether tied in 2019 or whatever, it was a noose. So, it wasn't directed at me but somebody tied a noose. That's what I'm saying."
