If they trade him, they probably have no choice. Any team that trades for him will want to sign him to a new deal, especially if it's a shitty team, and he can just say he won't re-sign with them. That will force them to back out of trade talks.

Certainly, Ramsey has the ability to test their patience and as the trade deadline gets closer, they may relax a bit. But right now, they obviously want a Ricky Williams, so they're not in any hurry.

Yeah, speculation that they won't trade to a contender. For the right price, they'd trade regardless of draft position. Even if Gardner Minschew gets them to a 10 - 15 pick record wise, they can pair their pick with the first rounder the Chiefs would give them to move up into the top 5 to get their QB or whatever position they covet.
