I could see something like that happening. In which case you basically traded a 2nd rounder for a Lombardi.... or nothing if you fail.
Worth it, IMO.
Not bad assuming we can actually trade him for that. That’s the wild card in all this. The Chiefs would have to get a first for a guy who would be on the last year of his contract and would probably walk if KC was unwilling to pay him top dollar. [Reply]

Reid forced Gruden out of his offensive game plan by taking off the top in the 2nd qrt and now Gruden has to go deep to play catch up abandoning the run which allowed Spags to load up on Carr. Had Reid not made his adjustment on offense in order to help the defense and the Raiders go up 17-0 it could have gotten ugly really quickly. Claiborn is at best a stop gap but he will not be the answer and Reid knows it and why they wanted Fitz. [Reply]
