This may be the best FA safety class ever. Lots of talent both young and old
The free agent safety market is insane:
Xavier McKinney Kyle Dugger Justin Simmons Kamren Curl Eddie Jackson Kevin Byard Julian Blackmon Geno Stone Micah Hyde Jordan Poyer C.J. Gardner-Johnson Quandre Diggs Jamal Adams Darnell Savage Jeremy Chinn Rayshawn Jenkins Jordan… https://t.co/m99VUig8RQ
So half the league released safeties they can’t afford and most of the teams probably don’t need them or can’t afford them , so of theses guys will be jobless or playing on vet minimum and playing special teams , safeties are going the way of the RB [Reply]

God that guy is the GOAT of mid level QB’s. He’s gonna amass over $300 million in career earnings :-)

Blow up your offensive line for salary cap reasons, then dump money into a vet backup QB for when Allen inevitably gets hurt behind said offensive line.

There's no way we cut Justin Reid right? It does save KC 10 mil on the cap this year and, obviously, replacements are widely available on the open market. I don't see Spags wanting to lose Sneed and Reid in the same offseason, but if you can snag on of these guys on a team friendly 2-year deal is it worth considering? [Reply]

I would think if we would've done it, it would've happened by now. Alot of these cuts are to give the player a chance to get a jump start. We would have respect to do that for Reid I would imagine. [Reply]

I reckon there will be guys playing better for less next year, but I can't see us getting them [Reply]
