I've never understood why ballparks are made with lines on concrete like that, where it takes multiple replays to figure out if it was a home run... just one reason that ballpark is a monstrosity. [Reply]

It does seem jacked-up. It seems like there needs to be some sort of fence that ball needs to go over.

I guess at least they got rid of the fucking mound in center field and took the dimensions down from 435 feet to dead center with the short porch in left. It went from a 12 year old screwing around in Sim Stadium to merely a monstrosity.
I remember Lorenzo Cain once hit a home run to left over all that stuff and no one knows where it went. It just... disappeared backstage or something. [Reply]
