Last night's episode, entitled "Criss Angel is a Douche Bag" (seriously) was awesome (other notable titles this season included "Are You There God? It's Me, Dean Winchester", "It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" which was one of the best eps of the series).
The entire season has been terrific. No bullshit, the show is delivering week after week after week, it's really hitting for me like the X-Files did during it's mid-run peak. It's not like anything else on television, much less anything on the CW. It delivers drama, it delivers emotion, it delivers horror, it delivers subtle comedy. I'm not sure it isn't one of the 2 or 3 best shows on all of television right now. Seriously. It's that good. Give it a look sometime if you haven't already. [Reply]

Yeah, with all the build up of the darkness, I thought the finale was a bit ho-hum. But, with Bobby...he is dead, so they wouldn't be thinking about him in the present as family still around. [Reply]
Yeah, the finale was anticlimactic and a bit ho-hum, but it was ok. I did laugh at the British version of the Men of Letters getting involved and acting pissed now that the Winchesters have essentially saved literally everything in the universe.
This was probably one of the better seasons of the last 4 or 5. I'll stick around to see where they take this next season, but I'm starting to think that this show might be losing steam as it goes down the road from here (they have just defeated a force on par with god, what could possibly be next?). Got to say I've enjoyed this season more than the last couple, but christ how long can they keep it going. Sam and Dean in a retirement home?
(Oh wait, that happened a few weeks back didn't it)
Never watched the show but met the two leads at the Sci-Fi awards last night. They were nice and stayed around after the show to talk with fans and take pictures. My wife got a picture with them. [Reply]

I'd would've been cool with if the series ended at season 5, because IMO it wrapped up nicely with Dean getting a family and Sam stopped being a selfish prick and sacrificed himself for the greater good. [Reply]
It's amazing to me that it's lasted as long as it has. And Jenson Ackles is already talking about coming back. :-)
I thought the last season was one of the stronger ones of the last ten years. It's going to be fun to watch how they decide to end it. I expect everyone dies. [Reply]

Hmmm yeah that that’s a good point. I don’t recall exactly where the show lost it’s edge but it definitely could have ended sooner. [Reply]

Would be cool if it ended with a whole new generation of hunters composed entirely of children Dean fathered in his career. [Reply]
I was kind of sad the Wayward Sisters spin-off-didn't happen.
I wonder if they'll take one last shot at building a spin-off after the two failed ones (the first try was a 'bloodlines' spinoff, ended up being one of the worst episodes of the entire series). [Reply]

The way they've introduced these mammoth celestial beings up to and including God himself (and his sister!), I fully expect them both to die and then be anointed to some cosmic standing of some sort. Sam is the new Death and Dean takes over Hell but keeps it under wraps, or some such ascension. [Reply]
