From the stands, I definitely got the sense that there were a few instances where the secondary was bailed out by Lamar Jackson's poor play as a passer. Looking forward to seeing the all-22 to validate that.
I think even a better pure passer like Matt Stafford could burn us this week if that's not tightened up. [Reply]

The Ravens are a tough team to play defense against. You can’t just commit to stop the run because they can deep ball you to death. You can’t rush the passer the normal way because Jackson can run around and you can’t play dime to stop the pass because they’ll run Ingram down your throat. [Reply]

Absolutely. And I think that's also partially to blame for some of the poor play by the LB unit as well.
It's very similar to playing Vick back in the day. You can't really commit to either the run or the pass, and instead have to play in sort of a neutral state...which is a really, really difficult thing to do. [Reply]
