We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

I think nobody on this website knows. I refuse to encourage the fanspeak of "he's done, cut his ass. Because I'm angry he didn't play better in the two games he played. I wanted the Super Bowl and now I'm taking it out on a former all pro because I determine he's done based on one game." [Reply]

I don’t see what we could really do with that money in 2019 that isn’t available now. Why not just wait?
Yeah - the $7+ million in torched salary that we're paying if we don't let him go.
It's not just about this year's cap hit. In fact, it's not at ALL about this year's cap hit. Its about having your house in order for 2020 and 2021 when you need to figure out Mahomes, Jones, Hill, Fuller, Schwartz and yes, Fisher.
People still complaining about Eric Fisher need to stop that shit. The Broncos are giving Ju'wan James to play RT what we're playing Fisher to play LT. Is he what you want from a 1.1? Nope, but he's outplaying his contract in relation to his peers at the position.
You can't just torch $7 million on Berry that then becomes a long-term liability you have to find somewhere in the cap over the next 2 seasons. [Reply]

I have that view based on the almost 0 games he's played since he signed that contract...it was a question what player he'd be after achillies surgery now he has another fucked up foot.
There is just nothing there saying this guy is going to be fine. [Reply]
So before free agency the prevailing view seemed to be that safeties would be cheap since there are so many of them, and CBs would be expensive and better to pick up in the draft.
Well it seems like just about every team had that same idea. [Reply]

Nope.
3/15. I actually think it's COB on 3/15 (it would trigger on the 3rd day of the league year, IIRC). So he has all day on 3/15 to make up his mind, I believe. [Reply]
