And the sweep is complete! Too bad I wasn't able to stay for today's game, but I'm glad to be home now.
I won't overload the thread with photos - just a couple. This is the view from the most excellent club seats we had Saturday. In addition to having all inclusive unlimited food and drink, we had access to a club area with buffets and bars. As expensive as stuff is at ballparks these days, if you eat and drink enough, these seats pretty much pay for themselves. $200 a piece, and well worth it.
Also, Saturday was Star Wars night. There were lots of fans in costume, they had stormtroopers wandering around (it was fairly amusing when they escorted the umpires onto the field) and they added light/dark side touches to the player photos on the jumbotron. This is the one they used for Carpenter:
I guess they weren't laughing anymore when Kylo Ren hit a two-run homer. :-)
Anyway, the games were great and the new stadium is awesome. Pretty much the only thing that sucked was traffic, pretty much everywhere. I'm used to Chicago traffic and compared to that Atlanta is awful. If we go down again we're just going to stay at the Hampton Inn and not even bother renting a car. [Reply]
Pham's first three games he has an OPS of 1.933! Dude needs to stay healthy and it might be worth it to hire an optometrist to keep his contacts adjusted as needed.!

That was a bomb today!
3 games is a small sample size but we may never see Martinez again. [Reply]

Pham is much more valuable to this team, our late inning outfield defensive adjustments have been an abomination. The choice should be between Adams and Martinez, or better yet Martinez and Peralta. I worry Peralta comes back and is just good enough for our resident genius to justify starting him regularly. [Reply]

That's my concern as well. He'll sit someone who's actually hitting the ball in favor of Peralta. [Reply]
