Thanos was the best f**king villain I've ever seen. He has so much depth, you can see his internal conflict and remorse, his willingness to do anything for what he thinks is right. So many parallels to the Avengers even though he is their antithesis. Its just beautiful writing and acting. Josh Brolin absolutely nails it. I can't wait to see it again.

He's totally going to regret killing his daughter to kill half of existence.

The Avengers will take mercy on him in Part II and he will live out his days in the soul gem with Gamora.

Also I love how this film explained what was happening in the first Avengers film.

That wasn't just some random "bad guys are evil and attack earth" thing. It was literally Thanos trying to wipe out half of earth to fulfill his vision for the universe, and you see the same aliens and huge-ass flying worm-tank thingies on that other planet.

You dig, comic nerds?

So I came across the original captain America tonight and while watching it, felt a little sad. Not sure why, maybe because I know it’s almost all over? Weird

My only complaint is that I wish Hulk busted out at the end once it looked like he was about to get his ass kicked in the Hulkbuster suit.

Hulk is my favorite though...I just love watching him completely wreck shit everywhere.

Just to be clear, Tobias Funke's Fantastic Four film IS, clearly, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Going to see this finally tomorrow night. I've stayed out of this thread as much as I can. Haven't done that in a while for a movie.
