Who's Vitello? Currently the coach at Tennessee and formerly the pitching coach at Mizzou who recruited Max Scherzer, Aaron Crow, and Kyle Gibson (among many others who were really good college players).
Not to belabor, but Drink, after going 5-5 in all all SEC schedule, is pulling in top 20 recruiting classes after Odom left is in near Kim Anderson level depths is nothing short of amazing. [Reply]
It sounds like KEVIN Coleman and Luther Burden don’t like each other, so not getting both. Even getting one is a major coup if they pull it off. [Reply]

Drink is literally doing what CM acted like he was gonna do. CM came here saying all kinds of good stuff, but he couldn't hold Drinks jock when it comes to recruiting the Lou. [Reply]
Another 4* commited today. #10 RB in the country from Texas. That’s our fifth 4* in the 2022 class. So excited to see what Drink can do in 2-3 years. [Reply]

Sadly he probably won’t be here in 2-3 years…. [Reply]

Nah. He will. He’s making $4m and we have a ton of boosters with deep pockets. And with SEC money, I think he will be here for 5-6 years.
However, if he’s gone in two years it will only be because he’s been super successful here, which will put us in a position to hire a great coach to take over. Win-win. [Reply]

Oh I don’t disagree that it’ll be seen as a success…and trust me I HOPE he’s here in a few years, I just think he’s destined for a Top 10 job and he’s shown the penchant to go so I’m not holding my breath.
That and well being a Mizzou fan, I expect the worst lol. [Reply]
