I was concerned about that as well. Here is some solid info on the matter:

They gave the Ravens 10 possessions.
And if they give us 10 possessions, there's no real reason to expect that our Chiefs won't score at least 5-6 TDs and a couple FGs. That's a minimum of 41 points. Check their scoring average over the last 8 weeks or so. Their offense scores a boringly consistent 24-27 points/game.
Talked to some Chiefs players Sunday about what it's like to tackle Derrick Henry and Tyrann Mathieu said he thought he broke his jaw hitting him on one play in the first meeting. Said it was like it hitting solid rock.

The Titans lost 2/3 last games and the Ravens were on a 12 game winning streak. Momentum and hot streaks don't carry into the playoffs. [Reply]

Apparently, you missed the point of the post. [Reply]
the Titans scare me cause of Henry and the play action pass. Going into the playoffs, Titans were the match up i was least looking. Was extremely glad that the Patriots fucked up and got Titans instead of the chiefs in the wild card.
The Titans are for real and the team has to be ready. I hope they don't fall into a trap and feel that since they came back from a huge lead, they can do it again.
It's a brand new game against a tougher opponent and the team has to be mentally be ready. Hopefully the nerves of the playoffs are out of the way. This team is resilient for sure and I don't see them giving up but let's hope for a easy win as opposed to a nail biter. One thing for sure, it'll take a team effort to stop Henry. [Reply]
Titans were aided by some dumb decisions by Harbaugh and bad play by Jackson
Their first TD came after a pick off a high\tipped pass. Good on the Titans.
Their 2nd TD came after idiot coach went for it on 4th & 1 from his own 45
Throw in 2 more turnovers and 2 more failed attempts on 4th down instead of FG's and that's your game
Titans did what they had to do but let's face it...3 turnovers and 4 failed 4th down attempts, 1 never should have happened, 2 should have been FG's and the 4th never would have been needed.
Poor ball security, bad QB play and terrible coaching helped the Titans beat the Ravens.
Keep all that in mind as everyone here trembles at the thought of Henry [Reply]
The Texans punted 3 times and had 1 turnover and 3 turnovers on downs, 1of which was stupid like Harbaugh.
In other words we forced the Texans to punt half as many times as Baltimore forced the Titans to punt and we were able to put up 51 after spotting them 24
Yes, the Titans will beat us if we bring our B game but then again in the playoffs, anyone will [Reply]
Looking at the Pats game again, Titans punted 6 times but were aided by 2 turnovers though they were very late in the game. Granted they turned it over themselves once as well.
Basically what it comes down to is while the Titans have played some good games, they have been aided by facing shit offenses\QBs and turnovers and bad coaching decisions.
Again, that's not saying they can't come in here and beat us but keeping perspective on things, they had some bounces go their way in their 2 victories. [Reply]

Nope. Defer in the first, take the ball to begin the second. We're going to get the ball anyway in the first after the first TEN drive. And giving them the ball right off does a few things for us.
They have to perform right out of the gate. Might make for some nerves, since they're going to be thinking that they have to score a TD just to stay in the game.
Second, it gives Spags a chance to see what they want to do as early as possible. So he can make his adjustments sooner.
If his base plan works right off, that gives the defense some confidence, but it also might give our offense a short field. And some extra juice for that first drive.
And finally, you always cross the stream on the horse that brung ya. You don't switch rides when your just a few steps away from shore. That's just common sense. [Reply]
I have two tickets to our AFC championship game this weekend. Have to retweet, favorite, and reply to this tweet with a funny video of yourself. The video I think is funniest wins !!!! *must be chiefs fans*
so, in the last 2 games the Titans punted 6 times each game.
If that were to hold true with KC then you could reasonably expect anywhere from 20-28 points by KC assuming they score after 4 of the 6 punts.
It took a turnover with a score for them to beat us last time as well.
So, take care of the fucking ball, keep the penalties to a minimum, and don't go for it on 4th down unless you absolutely have too....
Make them drive the fucking field and don't help them. They have had some help in both victories so there you have it...make them earn everything on their own [Reply]
