The most popular tournament in the world has finally come to a reality after 4 long years. 32 teams battle it out for the once every four year tournament known as the FIFA World Cup.
USA Eliminated from the World Cup, and did not qualify for the tournament for the first time since 1986. USA plans and vows to be back as a power house for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
USA, Mexico, and Canada will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with USA hosting 60 of the 80 matches. Below is a link for the 2026 possible venues for play, Arrowhead being one of the possibility's as a venue for the cup.

Simple solution is you just keep going, or at least longer extra time, but it isn't like the NHL where a fluke deflections make each moment dangerous regardless of energy level plus they change shifts. Imagine the quality of the game at the 240th minute?
So if you don't just keep going do you go down to 10 v 10, or 8 v 8?
Perhaps you could keep going but allow free substitutions after 120 minutes. Basically having shifts mid-play like hockey to keep the play "fresh".
PK's is an absolute brutal way to lose, especially if you are the favorite. Just not sure what the better solution is. [Reply]
Laughable anyone wanted Spain to win. I get rooting vs Russia (Russophobia runs hot over here) but Spain is boring as shit and deserved to be bounced.
They completed ONE THOUSAND passes vs Russia. (Russia converted 200). There was zero point to Spain's game. If anything they were the pussies hiding in a shell, not attacking. [Reply]
