He didn't do any of that shit.
That wouldn't have helped. They would have just mocked him saying she wasn't as strong as him. Instead, he owned it and said he was in the wrong. He manned up. He very well have put her in the choke hold trying to stop her from swinging at him. Who knows? I don't. He is in counseling and trying to move forward with his life. It's a part of his past, and as long as it doesn't happen again, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But I hope that the Chiefs have a short leash on him. Domestic abuse can not and should not be tolerated. And if anything like that happens again, he should be cut immediately. [Reply]

No. Not at all. I said that I had tried about everything else short of filing charges on them or leaving. One slap across the face after multiple slaps in the face and flat out punches from them doesn't make me an abuser in any way. Hell, the 2nd one actually jumped on me while I was in bed and was beating me in the back of my head then had the gall to get upset when I got her off of me and slapped her when she wouldn't quit hitting me. If you seriously think I had better options, then you're just being stupid. That one slap back put a stop to it. It seems like it was a pretty smart thing to do in my opinion. I don't care that she was a woman. She was the one that raised her fist to me. [Reply]
I don't understand why you're acting like boneheaded buttfucking trailer trash piece of shit in this thread but I'm done being nice to you on this topic.
Nice victim shaming, BTW.
How is my stating that he never admitted to doing everything she stated shaming the victim? I have never said she deserved anything that happened to her.
You think way too much of yourself, Dane. Nobody gives a shit if you are done being nice to them or if you get your rocks off by going on one of your insane name calling campaigns. Your opinion on this matter or any other issue of which you are not an expert matters very little. [Reply]

Well, you're wrong about "nobody caring", as I've received several notes on this subject from many members commending me for standing up for victim bashers like yourself.
I don't know where you got the idea that "no one knows" what happened here, when the motherfucking piece of shit ADMITTED it, but you're acting like a buffoon.
Act like a buffoon all you want but with each and every similar statement, you lose a little credibility and respect. [Reply]

Answer my earlier question: How have I bashed or shamed the victim?
Also, stating that there is more to this story than you or anyone else on this message board knows, is not inaccurate. You keep screaming that Hill admitted that he did everything in this woman's statement, and that is patently false. He signed a statement that read: "I was in a fight with my girlfriend that turned physical between us and I wrongfully put her in a headlock, putting external pressure on her neck that compressed her airway causing bodily injury." While that is horrible in and of itself, he has never admitted to punching her stomach, grabbing her neck with both hands, or punching her in the face repeatedly as the victim has claimed.
So, what I have been claiming all along is that I don't believe we know the entire story about this incident and I believe that Hill deserves a chance to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL. If he turns out to be a great player for the Chiefs and never does anything remotely like this again, great. If he so much as steps one inch out of line again as it pertains to domestic abuse, cut his ass and ban him from the NFL. [Reply]

Although I've never hit back, man I know what you are saying by being hit by women. I've had exes who have treated me like human punching bags whenever they became upset about something.
To this day, I sometimes get a ringing in my left ear when I hear certain noises/vibrations. This started happening when my ex of 4 and a half years slugged me. It was all because I was trying to break up with her, and my method of doing so was by telling her that the lyrics to the song "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" by Meat Loaf was a perfect fit for how I felt about her. Had her sit down, listen to the song with me, expected her to understand, but nope...WHAM!!! I was 18 years old when that happened. I can't believe I decided to start dating her again a couple weeks later... I can't believe we lasted another 4 years following that....hell, she hit me at least 10 times. I can't believe I still have a ringing in my left ear from that. [Reply]

Given that you listened to Meatloaf, I don't think the ringing in your ear is from the punch. [Reply]

How did you not drop the mic after dumping her by playing that song?
That was fucking gold. [Reply]
I've slept with scores and scores and scores of girls, dated a shit ton before getting married and I've never, ever, ever had a girl punch, slap or kick me.

I was drunk as hell when I said yes to going out with her. I woke up the next morning to her calling me with plans for me to come to her family's Thanksgiving and Christmas and what-not and I was all like, "ahhhhh shit, I forgot that I had a freaking girlfriend...how am I gonna get out of this one?!?!?!?" I spent the following 6 months thinking of my other ex that I was in love with (who didn't love me back, ohhhh, I know) trying to think of a proper way to break up with her...break it to her gently, ya know?
Haha, looking back, I can't believe I was so selfish to the point where I actually thought she would "understand" where I was coming from via listening to the lyrics of that song. I thought she would understand where I was coming from, not break my damn eardrum. Man, was she ever pissed off.
I should have sang and dedicated the song to her at a karaoke party somewhere. At least then, there would have been some security of some sort...I likely wouldn't have had this spontaneous ringing in my ear. [Reply]
He plead guilty to the charges of choking and punching his girlfriend. IN COURT.
If you don't think an admission of guilt in a court of law isn't a matter of fact and is instead a "headline" then you live in a fantasy land.
He plead guilty to domestic abuse. As part of his plea deal he signed a statement admitting to a physical altercation where he put his girlfriend in a headlock. Those are the facts as we know them right now. The rest is you being as stupid on this subject as you are on every other subject you discuss on CP. [Reply]
