So my 13 yr old son has come up with his theory which has been mentioned in this thread.
Yet he throws in a few more details.
The Face changing tech of course is key.
Before the end scene Cisco has that emotional conversation with the distraught HR...when we need you most you'll be there..
And yet HR feels fully responsible and though not a genius like Earth 2s HR he is smart enough to know his only function has been cheerleader/joke.
This is to pull you in and try to make you give a damn about silly/HR.
So the emotional scene leads into HR stearing at the piece of savitars armor.
Unsure exactly why maybe just to get his anger/wheels in motion.
So somehow Earth 1 HR helped earth 2 HR in a last second plan to use the face changing tech to switch some bodies around.
The funeral preview tells me its not an artificial body but Silly/HR
My son suggested we watch the end again.
And if Iris has a Ring on..well then Iris is alive and kicking.
Why?
Remember She gave Joe her ring when they were Alone.
Nobody else knew.
So if the body at end scene is wearing it..its not Iris.
The trick in the season finale will be Barry can not learn that it is not Iris.
how they pull that off?
Were thinking Barry speeds away Instantly after leading into the finale.

I actually felt a little let down - every single thing they did was predictable. Aside from Iris shooting him. But aside from that and maybe the half-good Frost there was nary a twist to be found the entire hour. [Reply]

Yeah it definitely was predictable esp Iris. You still watch Arrow? [Reply]
I got through the season via Netflix binge watching in about two days.
Although I enjoyed it, it didn't leave me excited for next season like Season 2 left cliff hanger after cliff hanger.
Maybe the difference is binge watching IDK?
I thought the final episode was boring over half way through then it got OK just not near as dramatic as season two with Zoom. Although the second to last episode was more traumatic
Spoiler!
I didn't expect HR to die and he became one of my favorite characters :-) That part was tough to swallow. It felt like when Colonel Blake was announced dead in M.A.S.H.
One thing I will give credit to the actors is their abilities to act as if they were different characters at the same time being a character with in themselves. If that makes any since?
One episode I didn't care for
Spoiler!
The Musical. Felt that was just out of place and the writers just had a filler episode but it had little to do with the story so it was unnecessary. Except the joke that there were two fathers was kind of funny. NTTAWWT.
Even though it didn't keep me in suspense like season two did it's still my favorite show in a long time. [Reply]
Losing Wentworth Miller really hurt. The Rogues are the heart and soul of the Flash comics. Their relationship with the Flash and each other is what the show runners should be building around. [Reply]

I started watching it for about 5 minutes, then realized it was part 3 of other episodes that were on other shows and started watching The Punisher instead. [Reply]

I did. What a fun 4 parter and alot of action and legends emotion. I enjoyed it except the Oliver and Felicity bullshit...esp at the very end when that attention whore basically stole Barry and Iris's spotlight with the 'oh hang on let's get married too now" fuck off Felicity. That unnecessary wedding drama and her dumbass butting in pissed me off. The Arrow showrunners/writers can gfts...
Your thoughts? I also liked the Tommy Merlin cameo. [Reply]
