The damn wife forgot how good the Mississippi pot roast was. We had that over homemade mashed potatoes and baked asparagus. I was a good day for comfort food I guess.

I bought two roasts yesterday, one for sandwiches one for soup, I made a pot of vegetable soup as well.

We've been on a soup kick lately, too. I love soups, stews, and chili. Doesn't matter what time of year, soup is always a winner!

That sous vide fried chicken is a real winner! I've only done it once, but it's the best fried chicken I ever made. Top 10 fried chicken I've ever had.
